It's a wool/poly blend, if I remember right. I made a reversible jacket (more like a cape with sleeves), using Vintage Vogue 2934 (1950 design). One side is kind of pale taupe shade with charcoal swirls (I think that's the "right" side), and the other side is black with ivory. If I roll the cuffs up, they match the jacket fabric and I have 3/4 length sleeves. I can also leave the cuffs turned down to show the contrasting sleeves, and have slightly longer than full-length sleeves.
