Satin & Faille
Satin fabric is formed using a satin weave. It can be made with a variety of fibers, but is commonly made with polyester, rayon, acetate, silk or blends. It is best for gowns, dresses, skirts and jackets.
Faille is a type of weave with a crosswise rib. It has a stiff hand and usually a lustrous sheen. It is best for formalwear and home decor.
